Year 5
It has been a very unusual term but we have still managed to have fun learning about Africa. We looked at a book called ‘The Water Princess’ and it made us appreciate how fortunate we are to have clean water whenever we need it. It helped us to empathise with people living in some parts of Africa. We did lots of activities to develop our literacy and numeracy skills - even measuring how much water we used in one day (a lot with all the regular hand washing!) We hope to raise money for the Georgie Badeil charity next year and are becoming ‘Ethical Informed Citizensl‘🐞
