Welcome To Hafod Nursery

Croeso i Ddosbarth Meithrin Hafod

 

Hafod Nursery is the starting point to formal education at Hafod Primary School. Every day in Nursery starts with physical exercise in the school gym. This is followed by check-in, snacks and stories on the carpet. We then have a blend of outdoor and indoor learning developing the children's skills in all six areas of the New National Curriculum. We finish the day with songs and stories back in the classroom before taking a trip to the School Garden for the end of the day.

Drop Off Time:

9:10am at the bottom gate

Pick Up Time:

11:30am at the bottom gate

Every day children should bring

 

• Spare change of clothes
• A piece of fruit for snack
• A water bottle

 

Children do daily exercises so should wear appropriate footwear/ clothing.

 

Every Friday, we will do outdoor activities so wellies and waterproof coats are needed for wet days.
